Housing Needs and Solutions in North Carolina

10:15am - 11:15am | Location: Ballroom ABC

Housing is one of the most important components of any community. Supporting current residents, as well as those who may be brought into a community from an economic development project, should be treated with equal importance. But not all housing is created equal, and it must be structured in a way which best fits the characteristics of the area.

We will explore how the lack of readily available housing influences:

  • Economic Development
  • State Coffers
  • Community Characteristics/Urban vs. Rural housing needs
